My dear Sir,
27th November 1844
I have a small Balance in my hands belonging to Brennan formerly in the Police, who was transported as a felon the other day. Also a Bill for 57 dollars belonging to the same person, but endorsed to Major Faine. Shall I send you the money and bill?
