Lapieque & Co,, merchants, of Queen's Buildings, efnimed from Wo Fat Shing merchants and ship-owacts of No. 81, Wing Lok Street, the sum of $2,602 as damages for breach of a contract to carry some of the plaintiff's cargo of wood to Saigon.
The statement of claim showed that the freight payable to the defendant, under the contract upon 203 pieces, les 31 pisces actually shipped, we $1,283.37, and included in the smoant which the plaintiffs are alleged to have suffered in damages through the breach of contract is the sum of $1,449 paid to the Societé Anonyme for Ireight of the timber to Saigon.
