REGULAR POLICY.

LONDON, March 11th.

In the House of Commons, at question time, Sir Ceeil Harmsworth stated that there was good reason to believe that the Bolaberists adopted, as a regular policy, the taking and murdering of hostages, including the wires and children of Anti-Bolgherists.

The Government was informed that the wives and children of officers who were forced to join the Red Army were kept as hostages, and, if the officers deserted, their wives and children were arrested and deprived of food.

EMPLOYMENT OF EX-

IMMEDIATE COMMENCEMENT OF CHANNEL TUNNEL URGED,

LONDON, March 10th In the House of Commons, Mr. Horatio Bottomley suggested that, in order to find employment for ex-soldiers, the Premier should approach the French Government, with a view to the immediate commencement of the Channel tunnel.

Mr. Bonar Law replied that he was communicating with the Premier on that subject.

INDIA'S ASPIRATIONS.

VIEWS OF FAMOUS INDIAN LEADERS.

LONDON, March 8th. Lord Sinha was entertained to dinner in Loudon

He protested against the idea preval ent in certain quarters that educated classes in India were unfriendly to British rule. He said that the educated classes, without exception, ardently desired to remain in the British Empire na qual British citizens.

The Maharajah of Bikanir, who pre sided, said that Indian leaders fully recognised that their ideal of self-gov ernment could be realised by India+

the remaining an integral part of British Empire. He said that the madnes of Mr. Montagu and Lord Chelmsford would go down to pusterity as those of two great Englishmen who helped in building a stronger Imperial fabric. He denied that the Indian Princes were hostile to Britain.

A heavy responsibility rested on the British Government in connection with; the contemplated reforms, which, if carried out, would enhance the loyalty. the and contentment of India; bat, reforms were whittled down, a situation of extreme gravity would be created.

The Aga Khan said that India's, absorbing desire was to be a Dominion under the British Crown. Loyalty to the King-Emperor was the key-note of their aspirations.

DODGE BROTHERS

MOTOR CAR

Its Goodness is alone responsible for the unusual that has existed right from the beginning.

demand

Nothing has ever disturbed the demand for this Car. No outside colitio 13, no conditions inside the industry seem to slow it up a particle. The people' want the Car more intensely at this moment than ever they wanted it before.

....

The Car has reached the stage when its sales are almost automatically increased. By this we mean that one sale is almost certain to result in one or

two other sales.

There is a very pronounced and definite public opinion now in this country. concerning the Dodge Bros. Car.

People seem to know that Dodge Brothers' idea, from the very first, was that if they built the Car right, nothing else mattered. It is the quality revealed in

its performance which makes the price impressive. People are attracted by something more than price; it is the internal and external excellence which

characterises the Car.

The, high price it demands when sold second-hand increases the respect which the Car is held.

It would be hard to find a truer test of enduring worth. People are not eager

for used Cars unless they know that such Cars have before them a long life of satisfactory service.

And so the Dodge Brothers Car is bought, not upon price, but npon the quality and value that it embodies.
