My Lords,
for Beef - Stalls for Fish to the whole number of stalls are included
in one valuation and the Rate is paid by the first renter. If otherwise, occuping the stall pays the rate, which varies from fifteen
to forty-five cents per quarter.
5. All the Junkmen make a practice as soon as they arrive to land and view the place, make purchases and sell articles brought
by them on their own account -
this is visible to any person
traversing the roads particularly the Lower Bazaar. The Junkmen are however seldom on shore after dark
probably from ignorance of the regulation.
