Travellers and Tourists journeying between Tokyo and Peking should travel vid the South Manchuria Railway, which runs from Fusan to Mukden and passes through magnificent scenery and furnishes the last link in the newest highway round the world. Only a short sea
passage (about 10 hours) between Shimonoseki and Fuson. From capital to capital by express trains the journey occupies only 34 days. The ordinary dialy trains between Fusen and Mukden have sleeping and dining socommodation.

This line connects at Mukden (the ancient capital of China) with the Peking-Makden Line and the main line of the South Manchuria Railway, which connects the Trans-Siberian Route with the sea-board at Dairen, where there are several regular steamer services.
