Mr. Josephus Daniels announces that the 1990 naval estimates have been re- duced to $1,180,000,000, owing to the Armistice.
The original estimate was 82,844,000,000. No reduction will be made in the es timate of $800,000,000 for the three-year building programme, which includes ten super-Dreadnoughts, six, battle-cruisers, and 140 smaller warships and auxiliaries.
