The Postmaster General of the United Kingdom complains that much trouble and delay is at present experienced in clearing parcals from abroad through the British Customs in consequence of vague and insecurate Customs Declarations.
In order to avoid such delay, it is necessary that the particulars on the relative Customs Declarations should be full and precise in all details, and as far as possible, in accordance with the classifica.. tion of the British Custom tariff.
In the case of parcels containing articles of different kinds the exact quantity of each kind of article should be stated.
