HONGKONG TENNIS LEAGUE.
The ninth annual report of the Hong-
pro kong Tennis League, which is to be sented at the annual meeting to-morrow evening, states that there were two divi sions of the League, as during the previous sensin. The following Clube constituted Division I.: Vanguard, Hongkong Cricket Club (A), University (A), Chinese Recreation Club (A) United Services Club, and Kowloon Cricket Club (A). The following Clubs constituted Division I-Craigongower, Naval Yard, Civil Service, Ladies Recreation Club, Kow Icon Cricket Club (B), University (B), Chinese Recreation Club (B), Club de Recreio, Chinese 1.M.C.A., und Kowloom Dock Yurd. ⠀⠀⠀
Two new Clubs, namely, Kowloon Dock. yard and Naval Yard, were welcomed to Division 11. They took the places of Olympic and Wigwam who were un- fortunately unable to enter teams owing to diminution in their membership. It is to be hoped that they will be able to enter this season.
It is regretted that some of the Clubs in Division II. did not complete their fix- Lures, and the Committee feel that the attention of Club Secretaries should again be drawn to this, in order that they may do their utmost to complete the fixture lists in future.

Wolle, in his capacity as Coroner, beld an inquiry into the cle- cumances surrounding the death of an unknown Chinese male, supposed to be n mendicant, who died as the result of injuries sustained by being knocked down by tramcar No. 50 on the Proys East at 7.30 p.m. on March 25th.
