COLLISION IN HONGKONG HARBOUR.
CORONER 8 INQUIRY.
Mr. JR. Wood in his capacity as Coroner, held an inquiry into the cir cupastances surrounding the death of n boat woman, who, with two others, was thrown into the water and drowned, as the result of a collision between a sampan and the steam launch Sun Tp at Yau- mati byphoon shelter.
Mr. C. E. H. Beavis watched the case on behalf of the coxswain of the Inanch am the owners.
The husband of the deceased woman identified the body and said his wife was 23 years of age. The last time he saw her alive was at 30 p.m. on the 20th Noven. ier, when she came in to his mother's boat. He heard of her death by drown- ing on the morning of the 22nd Novem, her, and saw the body on the 23rd.
