On the 4th april last my son Capt William ... was Nom's Dary wachis oratound the Torrington schooner which her commandeds off the Coast of ... his way to Hong Kong. The ressel having arrived at that port a seizure of his papers was made by the Registrar, Having received letters from ship agent James Mantey of Canton, and from the chest mate of the Torrington (Mr Che Gribble) etating ...
I wrote to the Registrar the above mentioned seizure in the July last claiming the effect, but, strange to say I have had no reply altho's other litters written : the same time they have buss duly acknowledged.
I take the liberty of addressing my lord to know ye any official retion of the matter has been made, if not, to big you to Cause an enquiry into the circumstances.
