Dooks, WusIVES AND Gozowas. Ato date:- fairly large business has been done in this section and prices, mostly, show an improvement. A good demand for Hong. kong and Whampoa Docks lifted the price steadily to its cash, und business was put through at $120 September, and ki October. Market closes with buyers at $172 cash Kowloon Wharves have also improved materially and, after sales at. interracdiate prices, they close with proh able buyers at $73 cash, and corresjinid ing rates forward. Shanghai Docks have somewhat weakened; and after sales at Tls. 87 cum div., they finish with buyers at Tis. 78 ex div. of Tis. 9.
