Sons on my way from Swatow Fast point to the town when prisoners boat kept company with me, until I came to the Central Market where they parted company, and the prisoner's boat continued in the direction of the Lower Bazaar.

Wern Ayon sworn, states. I was returning in my Ferry boat in the 17th instant. At about 4 o'clock I got half way across the harbor when I met the prisoners' boat which was sailing up the harbor towards the Lower Bazaar. I first saw the last boat sailing in the direction of Cheung Chau theory, then she had got half way across, she altered her course and sailed up the harbor, and shortly after, we met together.

There were plenty of boats about, but I did not observe any particular one. The prisoners' boat was sailing.
