Agree to the opinions of the Governor & Committee in these particular cases, but take the opportunity of instructing the Governor, as suggested on a former occasion, that these resumptions cannot be indefinitely continued. It was well enough to allow them when a large part of the Community suddenly discovered that they had offered too much for their lands, but it would be open to much objection that parties should have a Right of retaining the whole of their property as long as they pleased and yet surrendering any part of it when it might suit their convenience.
