In reply to your Letter dated the 16th Inst., I have it in command to acquaint you, for the information of Earl Grey, that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have not seen reason to dissent from the Instructions his Lordship proposes to convey to the Governor of Hong Kong in regard to the Repeal of the Duty on Auction Sales and the Increase of the Duty on Auctioneers Licenses.
