Defence should have been conducted by the Law Officers of the Colony, in the love of
Prosecution
instituted against the Colonial Government.
Their Lordships would
suggest that the Governor should be instructed to adopt this Course. in the event of any further Proceedings being instituted by the Plaintiffs in the Case, and that
Measures should be taken for
recovering from them, on
the part
of the Colonial Government, the Costs which they have been ordered
to pay, if they appear again in
Courts,
or relate to the Colony.
