CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.
Tuesday next, the 23rd January, being Chinese New Year Day, the Post Office will be entirely closed. A
There will be no delivery or collection of correspondence from the Pillar Bɔxes. Non-Boxholders may, however, obtain their ordinary correspondeac on application at the inquiry counter at the South-West entrance to the building. Oa Welnesday, the 21th January, the Post Offics will be open from 8 to 9 a.m., and there will be one delivery and one collection of ordinary corres. pondence as on Sundays.
The Money Order O ac3 will be entirely closed.
Particulars of outgoing and incoming Mails, other than those shown below, will not be advertised in fatare.
The Post Offics will forward all correspondence postel by the fastest routes.
Correspondence addressed to enemy subjects in China, Siam, Liberia, Portuguese East Africa, Persia and Morocco cannot be transmitted.
The Services to Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire are suspended.
