SLAVE TRADE IN JAPAN. COUNTRY BOYS KIDNAPPED.
The Metropolitan Police have recently learned that kidnappers have been selling of five or six yen each. This revelation, children to various factories at the price says the Japan Times, came through the Hanjo about a fortnight ago. When the finding of two children wandering in two children; both eleven years old, were found by the police, it was ascertained that they had both been kidnapped in Akita prefecture, and were sold to a fac tory in Honjo for five yen & head.
