(1206

It is the equivalent of the German Aspirine and is as efficient if not more

so than this last product for the same therapeutic purposes. Each tablet contains 0,50 gramme of pure KHODINE.

From 1 to 6 tablets a day may be taken, according to physicians' prescription.

RHODINE is a special remedy for acute rheumatism. If taken in proper doses, it will often cure and always alleviate headache, neuralgia, stomachie para, etc., if those complaints find their origin in rheumatism.

It is very valuable in influenza, typhoid fever and in all kinds of infectious diseases attended by feverishness.

These tablets may be taken at any time, in a small quantity of water in which they will dissolve almost immediately.

Alkaline water, Eau de Vichy or water containing bicarbonate of soda, for instance, should be avoided.

The Japanese papers publish a report as to gambling on board a Japanese liner plying between Hongkong and San

Francisco. While the liner was on her. way from Sun Francisco to Yokohama, it came to the knowledge of her passen- gers that the Chinese members of the crew, were indulging in gambling day and night, whenever they had time to spare; also that some of the passengers took part in the games. Some of the foreign passengers, disapproving this state of affairs, made a profest to the foreign such things to go on. The Captain, how Captain of the steamer for allowing
