Lordships, that; in some cases, Bounties have been awarded without sufficient Evidence being adduced to justify the decision of the Court, and their Lordships apprehend that under the Instructions now being sent out, and in the extensive operations contemplated, Bounties may in future be awarded which, although considered Piracy by the Claimants, ought not properly to be received as coming within

the meaning, and intent of the Act above Referred to.
