With reference to my communication yesterday's date: 1925, in which I ventured to lay before His Excellency the Governor a statement of my humble services and consequent claims upon Her Majesty's Government; I beg most respectfully further to submit, for the consideration of His Excellency a proposition prompted by the peculiar hardship of my individual case, rendering as it does almost total annihilation of my prospects in life, and those of my family; unless the said proposition is favourably entertained by Her Majesty's Government.
None is better capable than yourself of judging how strenuously I have exerted myself for the last 5 Years, faithfully and jealously to discharge the many duties which have devolved upon me, and you will likewise be aware that when permitted, I most cheerfully contributed to the Superannuation Fund, when others similarly situated declined to do so, which led to the general belief that all those who subscribed, would be retained in the Service
