On the green players anust see that their caddies observe the etiquette of the game, namely
(1) That the caddie holds the pin at arm's length, the pin not being moved from the hole.
(2) That balls must be taken out of any
hole by hand and not “spooned" out with a club. Caddies must replace pin in hole without damag ing the edge of the hole. Players are carnestly requested not to throw down putters or the green.

On account of grass fires competitors are requested to exercise the greatest care in the disposal of cigar or cigarette unds and lighted inteles. Their attention is also called to the recently introduced Bye-Law wherein the Club has usked every member. to add his co-operation to the work of supe messing smoking amongst caldies when car- rying clubs.
Through the green, on the green, and any time during the course of a round players. are asked to do their utmost to stop the iwelless chattering and shouting of their endlies,
Caddies must be taught to remain perfect ly still as well as silent during the playing
