KONGKONG 3.0. WIN THE TROPHY,

For the third time since the inaugura- tion of the Competition the Hongkong Football Club obtained possession of the Shield by defeating the Royal Engineers after a typical cup-tie contest by a goal to love on Saturday. The Club had pre- viously won the trophy in 1809 and 1908. In the final Last season the R.E, defeated the Club after a drawn game by two goals to wil.

This season the Club bave displayed somewhat erratic form, but it is generally: accepted that when they are on their best behaviour they are the superior of any other eleven in the Colony. There was some amount of anxiety on the part of the Club supporters as to how their favourites would shape, but the majority were quietly optimistic. There was the usual crowd of
