The portrait of Yé, herein reproduced, faithful copy issued at Canton at the) beginning of this year (1857), is a true likeness without the slighest alteration with regard to the correct Chinese type of the individual. Glancing at his cranium, unique sui generis, one will immediately the great deficiency of equilibrium which is presented between the different orgalls.

The exchanges opened in a startling manner. The Cub took the ball straight goalward from the kick-off, and as the result of a fine bout of passing between Robinson, Stalker, and McTavish, the ball was taken through the first and second lines. Stalker eventually fastened on to it a few yards out, and slaaned just over the bar with Rogers helpless. It was on vious that the Club were in determined nood, and the opposing defence were much embarrassed by the forwards" thrustful dashing play. Robinson in particular was ever and anon bursting through with rare speed, bus Coxon generally managed thwart his final efforts. Stalker, who was displaying much skill in the centre, and was working much harder than usus, screwed in a difficult shot that severely. tested Rogers, but the R.E. eventually broke the back of the Club's offensive, and, swinging the ball about well, gave Me Cubbin and his partner, Dickie, plenty of work. B.G.A.DEPEAT THE NAVY.
By a margin of two goals to one the R.G.A. secured the brace of points at issue in their match with the Navy, after a furiously-fought game. These points are extremely useful to the gunners, bringing them up to even terms on percentage with the Shropshires. The championship of the League wil in all probability depend upon the result of the game between the Shrop Ishires and the R.G.A.. which the former
should just win.
