The Colonial Treasurer having

notice that the arrears due to

the Crown on the 9 Lots of Land enumerated

in the enclosed Returns

are entirely

Md. irrecoverable, from the holders thereof having

either died insolvent or left the Colony; directed the Surveyor General, on the instant, to resume these Lots in due form, and to have them struck off the Rent Roll.

Your Lordship will perceive from the

remarks opposite to each lot, that this was the only course

left for my adoption, as the

continuance of these lots on the face of the Rent Roll

gave a false or fictitious
