In continuation of my Despatch No 261 of the 24th August, with regard to the temporary Police Guard procured for the Naval Stores at West Point, at the expense of the Colonial Government, I have the honor to forward, for Your Lordship's information, copy of a further correspondence which passed between Commodore Collieridge and myself on the subject of increasing the force already provided.
