HONGKONG SCHOOLS' ATHLETIC SPORTS.
A SUCCESSFUL MEETING.
The Hongkong Schools annual athletic sports were held in favourable conditions on the Race Course at Happy Valley lost evening. As usual at this popular event, there was an extremely large number of spectators, who witnessed some excellent racing. The feature of the meeting was the brilliant success of Johnson (St. Joseph's College), who carried off all the principal Senior events, and easily won the Senior Championship gold medal.

At the close of the rating, His Excel- loney the Governor (Sir Henry May) presented the prizes, and also handed St.. Paul's Collego the Cup for the Junior School Football Losguo. His Excellency congratulated St. Joseph's College on their remarkable success this year-Ho hoped some other school would step for ward next year and break St. Joseph's record. (Applauso.) ---
