Auditor General's office,
Victoria, 29th September, 1842.
With Reference to the greatly increased, expense for Medicine supplied to the Police Force and others, which I have already brought to Your Excellency's consideration, I have the honour to suggest that, (in conjunction with the proposal of the Colonial Surgeon for establishing Government Hospital and Dispensary), the Medicines required for this purpose should be procured direct from home, half yearly, and that the Colonial Agent be requested.
His Excellency
S. G. Bonham, Esquire, C.B.
Governor.
