Since that time, under the iron regimen of Austria and some loyal Prime Ministers to the Habsburg dynasty, like Caloran Tisds, Banily, Száll, Hadevary and the actual head of the Government, Count Stephen Tisso, the dualist agreement has been continually attached in such violent political fights and scenes as no other Parliament has ever witnessed. It is sufficient to recall in this respect the Parliamentary discussion of the increase of the army, which was only voted after bloody fights by the Hungarian deputis. The entire energy and brutality of Count Tisza were necessary. He, with the help of the police, expelled more than 100 mem bera from the Parliament; in order that this law should be voted. The Opposition, consleting of more than 160 members of the Independance Party, never forgave this either to the Prime Minister or to Austria, and a reconciliation never took place.

From this moment under the despotic
