Flight Commander Hewlett, who re- turned home from Holland last month gave a description of the seaplane raïd on Cuxhaven in an interview with a Press Association representative.

I was flying in a Short seaplane, and, when I started off, went at a height of about 2,000 feet. I made direct for, the coast near Cuxhaven, but when near the shore the fog came over awfully thick, 3,805,218.73 and I was obliged to descend until I was flying only at about 200 feet.
