Since I hail the hover of
Excellency
Alvis
received the enclosed Reports,
by which I regret to say you with
that Nine soldiers of
the 95th Regiment died yesterday,
I have also had a visit
from the Principal Medical
officer urging
the absolute
necessity
of embarking the Regiment with the least
possible delay.
I have consequently
ordered a Board of officers
to
proceed immediately to Whampoa to
inspect a Vessel for that purpose and
