SHIPS LETTER BOXES.

1.It is hereby notified that during the continuince of the War all outgoing ocrrespondence

must be posted at the General Fest Ofles or at any of its Branch Offices. 2.-Ebips' Oficere eretiictly forbidden to receive on Ecard their vessels any correspondence

from the Public.

3. Shipmatters sie rot allowed to place or capeso on toand their vessels latter boxes for the purjoo_of_celleding_topchurce, all eich togey found exposed on board their vessels will be removed and restined to the General Post Ofßes. 4-Shipping Companies must not freeira firm the Publio fer inclusion in their abips' Papers

but bona fide Cezsigners' letters which should be left open for inspection when required. 5-Shipping Companies should state in their notilations to the Post Office the exact boar of departure of their vessels in order that the public may have every facility for posting at the General Port Office. 6-Shipping Companies and Ships' Officers ut send to the Past Office ALL correspondenco except bona fide Consignet letters posted in the Ships Letter Boxes or received by Ship Offers at the party from which they sailed, or any where en route to Hongkong. The above regulations will not affect the licensed Private Letter Boses-carried-between Horghang and Canton by the vessels kelonging to or managed by the Hongkong, Canica and Moono Steamboat Co.

WAR RISKS ARE NOT COVERED BY POSTAL REGISTRATION OR INSURANCE.

The Parcel Post service to Egypt and countries beyond is for the present suspended.
