BRUSSELS, August 10th.
According to official advices, the Ger- mans in the fighting around Mulhausen against the French showed the same want of dash as the Germans did at Liege, when on a number of officers being killed, the men fled, sheep-like, in a helpless rabble, It is denied that Belgian civilians fired at the Germans; this rumour, the message states, is being spread with the object of trying to justify the reprisals threatened by the Germans.
