The Empress of Japan, with the CANADIAN MAIL, left Shanghai on Wednesday, the 22nd inst, at 6 p 20, and in duo to arrive here to-morrow, at 6 8.11.
The Korea, with the AMERICAN MAIL, is scheduled to arrive here on Saturday, the 2nd May.
On and after 1st May the new Sai Ying Pun Branch Post Office, situated in the Sanitary Department Office, Pokfulam Road, will be opened for the transsotion of business, riz. Sale of Stamps, Registration, ko.
The Ofoe bours will be, week days 7.n. to 7 pm.; Sundays and Holidays 8 to 9 am and 6 to 7 pm. The University Branch Post Office will cease to do business on Ist May.
China Registered Correspondence will not to delivered on a signature only. The Chop of a firm of standing will in each case he required in addition. The Postmen have instructione not to part with any registered article until the above regulation has been complied with.
