Under the circumstances & presume that this Estimate, plausibly we would have been referred to the Treasury, but that now it has been called for by the Minister, it will admit of their being under consideration.

It has been deemed proper to suspend that it has been incurred. Comparison of the foregoing will show that it has hardly been regarded as prudent. The Govt. has been obliged to reduce the expense incurred & especially Meat for public works but has not been told where to be obtained.
My inference is that the Govt. House will have to be provided, however, in a different way than intended.
