My Lord,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your Lordship's Despatch No. 27 of the 25th April last, with its enclosure from Chief Justice Hulme to the address of your Lordship's Under Secretary, of the 17th of the same month. The enclosed Copy of correspondence
between Mr Fay, the Registrar of the Court, and Predecessor by
Mr Trotter, transmitted to
my
Acting Chief Justice Campbell will serve to
inform your Lordship that Mr Trotter was not deprived of his office on the suspension of
Mr Suline, but that as a matter
of delicacy, Trotter declined to continue to act as Judge's
Clerk to Mr Campbell...
