good start, Mystery being second, Balkan Chirf third and Pitcorthie last This order was more or less maintained until the home straight was reached, Mystery running strong all the time. Victorioso led the ponies into the home ernight and had the rails, with Brympton next, and Pitoorthie showing in the bunch. In the final dash Brympton just managed to get the lead and won an exciting finish by a head; a neck separating second and third.
