occasions the amount of Charter will be paid to us here, and that Government will send the Convicts on board sufficiently secured in every despatch.

The Hero is in the Harbour and will be prepared to Receive the Convicts at day light Sunday the 20th August.

agreed that the passage money for the convicts be paid as follows...

One half on departure of the Hero, and the Remainder on the Receipt of acknowledgement from the Lenong authorities of their delivery there.

It is also understood that the death of any of the Convicts during the said passage will not interfere with our claim for the passage money.
