With regard to the half pay of Dr Bonham from the date of his embarkation, it appears the entire pay was drawn by Mr Young, acting as Colonial Surgeon.

A Hospital has been erected and endowed ($12,000) by Messrs Matheson & Co; it is a very excellent and humane Institution.
