Extract of a Letter from Chief Justice Hulme to His Excellency Governor Bonham,

dated 23rd June 1848.

I have the honour to inform your Excellency that prior to my leaving England, I received from Her Majesty's Treasury five months full Salary due to me up to the end of April last, and I shall feel obliged if your Excellency will give directions for the payment of the further full salary which has accrued to me since that period.
