POST OFFICE NOTICE. CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCEL MATE
The Public are informed that the Parcal Mail to the United Kingdom and Countries. beyond which will be closed in this Oleo at 5 pm, on the 21st November will be treated as the New Year Mail, and is due to resol Lordon on the 27th December. Parcels may To forwarded via Brindisi with an extra feo of 60 cents, and with this mail are due in London on the 20th December.
Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their value. All insured Parcels must ce sealed. All the seals must be of the same coloured wax, and must bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the same on each Boal. Straight, ourred, crossed or dotted lines are not simissible. Buttons, Coins and Thimbles cannot be used for sealing.
The Clarke of the Post Office are forbidden to affix stamps on letters or parcels or to seal any article for the public. Parcela that in the opinion of the officer handling the same do not comply with the regulations will not be accepted.
It is requested that Parcels be posted early.
