THE SHIPPIYU DISPUTE.
It is generally believed, however, that the increase of capital, which a short time ago was not intended, is due to the dispute with the North Lerman Lloyd and the break up of the North Atlantic Pools. Both the Hamburg-Amerika and the North Gerroan Lloyd deny that any negotiations are proceeding between them. The North-German Lloyd says tant it has no intention of increasing its capital. It is expected that the new shares will be taken over by the usual syndicate at 118 and issued at 120. The present shareholders will be offered one new share for every five old shares held.
It is reported that negotiations about the future of the Freight Pool will take place here next Friday and negotiations about the Passenger Fool in Paris next month.
