POST OFFICE NOTICE.
Attention is drawn to the re-opening of the Tientsin,-Pukow Railway Mail Service connecting with the Trans-Siberian Mail Service. Mails will be closed locally to make the necessary con- nection at Shanghai whenever possible.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCEL MAIL.
The Public are informed that the Christmas Parcel Mail In the United Kingdom and Counties beyond will be closed in this Office at 5 pm. on the 7th November. This Parcel Mait by the feng sea rate via Gibraltarie des to reach Lundon on the 17th December. The following Mail of the 21st November will be treated as the New Year Mai), and is sue to Track Leaton on the 27th December. Parcels may be forwarded via Dindisi wih su extm fee of 60 cents, and with this mail are due in London on the 20th December
Parcels containing Gold of Silver must be jasured for at least part of their valus. All insured Parcela wust be sealed. All the reais must be of the same coloured wax, and monet bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the mime to each seal.
