The wedding has passed off most success- fully in fine, though occasionally over- cast, weather. The town was aroused at 4 o'clock by a salute of guns.

At 7 o'clock Dom Manoel and the Princess Augustina attended Mass and communicated in the Chapel of the Castle, At 11 o'clock the axecution of the marriage contract was performed by General Count Eulenburg, Grand Mar- shal of the Court and of the Household and Grand Master of the Ceremonies to the Emperor William, who had come from Berlin for the purpose

They then drove to visit the bride's graud- mother, the Princess Dowager Leopold of Hohenzollern, who was herself an Infanta of Portugal, being the daughter of Doña Maria da Gloria..

After the wedding breakfast-at which the bride's father, in proposing her health, deplored the departure of his only daughter and later in the afternoon, the Dowager Princess returned the visit at the Castle, after which the married pair left quietly by motor for Munich.

Among those in attendance upon Dou Manoel and Queen Amelie at Sigmaringen were Count Sabugosa, Great Marshal of Master of the Horse, the Duice de Palmella the Court of Dom Manoel, Count Tarouca, and Marquis de Fayal, the Viscount d'Affcea, the Marquis de Lavradio, Cham berlains; Count Figueiro, Grand Master of the Court of Quoco Amélie, and Countess Figueiro, and Count and Countess das Galveas.

There were also present the Marquis de Soveral, formerly Portuguese Minister in London, Senhor Joao Azevede Contin- Lancastre, Senhor Luiz de Magalhaes, cho, Dr. d'Almeida Arevede, Dr. de and Mine. de Saldanha da Gama.

The Duke de Luynes was in attendance upon H.R.H. the Duke of Montpensier.
