It appears from
the accompanying correspondence
that Mr Hillier must have been
acting
in
strict
conformity with the instructions of the late Sir J. Davis. Lord Grey is of opinion that Governor Bonham
should be requested
to repay to Mr Hillier
the
sums advanced
by him in this matter,
amounting to $296.40 cents.
