This ribbon begins on the left of the bodice, and, catching the skirt, sharply falls to the ground to add to the vivid yet restrained eulont impression. A scarf of cyclamen velvet, voiled with peach chiffon, and a turban hat of black talle completes this unusual but attractive toilette.

OTHER STAGE GOWNS.

The ultra notes of present fashions are seen at the Prince of Wales' Thestre, whero Miss Muric Tapsel wears them with her usual distinction. In he striped velvet gown the skirt is slightly draped at one side, and the coat with short basques of bright blue velvet brocade has a skunk collar and cnfis matching the skunk that edges the skirt. The rest and gown is in pale pink ninon Valenetennes, the wa't defined with pat blue ribbon caught together with falling erds. A long loss chiffon and lace cou is worn with this, in fact coat and skirt seem to be the fashionable form of evening as well as of outdoor dress. The evening gown in this play is in cherry-coloured charineuse, the skirt draped in a novel and graceful manner over pale pink chiffon and lace. The bodice in these materials has straps of leopard skin forming brotelles and edging the sleeves; leopard skin also borders the long-pointed train. This gown is caught in at the knees after the latest of the hobble modes.

How to

SORE Avoid THROAT

This is one of the worst mouths in the year as regards the risk of catching Sore Throat.

This painful malady is caused by germs-invisible atoms of plant life which we inhale from the air.

:

The warmth and moisture of the mouth cavity, with its wrinkled surfaces containing residues of food, form ideal cou- ditions for the growth of these germs, which inflame and irritate the lining of the throat.

A few Formiamint Tablets, sucked like sweets, entirely rid the mouth cavity of germ growths, and thus cure Sore Throat in the shortest possible time.

Signor Cario, the world-famous tenor, writes:-I have found Wuling's Formarmint Tablets very beneficial to the throat, and pleasant to the teste."

Although Formamirit Tablets are pleasantly flavoured and quite haridless, they contain a powerful autiseptic which goes thoroughly of Over the lining the mouth and threat, and is absolutely fatal to germ life. Therefore, ther not only cure and prevent Sore Throat,
