HONGKONG, JANUARY 21ST, 1913. THE published figures of Customs revenue for 1912 indicate greatly increased trade at practically overy port in China, with the exception of Shanghai and the Manchurian ports. Of the individual towns that bave contributed to the record total for the year the most significant fustance for British merchsuts is, perhaps, Changsha, which accounts for 90 per cent. of the trade of Hunan.
