HONGBONG 2. SHANGHAI "POSSIBLES." This game was regarded as an inter- port trial, and much interest was evinced by the good crowd of spectators, amongst whom were a remarkably large muster of civilians, who assembled at Happy Valley on Saturday. Unfortunately, the game

fór a fruitless corner. The Club kept up the pressure, and Stubbs passed prettily to the centre, whose shot was tipped over by the custodian. Time came almost im mediately afterwards with the Club vic torious by one goal to nil.

LAWN BOWLS.

The closing of the season and the pre- sentation of prizes in connection with Kowloon Bowling Club took place on Saturday afternoon, and proved a most interesting event. The members were "At Home to their friends, representa- tives being present from Taikoo, Police and Civil Service Clubs. The feature of the day was the final in the composition for the championship of the Club, G. K. Haxton beating G. R. Haxton after a good game. The final, in the pairs' com- petition was also decided, victory going to J.-W. Crawford and T Ramsay A rink match participated in by four rinks for spoons took place between teams re presenting the. President, Mr. G. L. Duncan, and the Vice-President, Mr. A. Ramsay, a keen struggle ending in a win for the President's side by 70 points to 58. At the close the prizes were presented
