I have the honor to transmit to Your Lordship an Abstract and Returns of the Receipts and Disbursements of the Colony for the quarter ended 31st March, 1848, as required by chapter VII. of the Colonial Regulations.

Petition by Chang Laoud. praying that the arrears of rent owing by him for four lots of land may be remitted, supported by the General observations and the opinion of the Attorney General, Surveyor, and Treasurer.
