I have to acknowledge
the receipt of a despatch
from Sir J. Dairs - No42 of the 14 March transmitting
a rule of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong relative to the employment and
payment
of Translators and
Interpreters to the Court. Whilst I agree with Sir J. Dairs in thinking it
desirable to encourage properly qualified persons in undertaking the Office of Interpreters and Translators
in the Chinese language, I
