The report of the directors for the year anding 30th April, 1912, reads as follows:

The directors now beg to submit to you their report and statement of accounts

for the year ending 30th April, 1919. The Net Profit for the twolve months, after deducting Directors' Fees and General Managers' Remuneration and providing for loss on sub-

sidiary coins, amounts to....., $36,508.94 To which has to be added the Balance brought forward trum last account..

The directors recommend that a dividend at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum be paid to shareholders, absorbing 824,000.00, that $18,000.00 be transferred to reserve fund and that the balance of $2,402.74. be carried to a new profit and loss account.

Since the last general meeting the directors have had to deplore the death of Sir Hormusjce Mody. Sir Paul Chater has been invited to fill the vacancy caused by his decease.
